Leadership isn't learned by reading about it. It's developed through deliberate practice, honest reflection, accountability, and real-world application. Throughout my military career in the Royal Canadian Navy, leadership wasn't treated as an academic subject. It was a responsibility that demanded preparation, competence, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Every promotion came with structured leadership development designed to prepare leaders before they were entrusted with greater responsibility. When I completed my MBA, I gained valuable insights into business strategy, organizational behaviour, and management. Yet I couldn't help but notice something was missing. While business schools teach leadership theory exceptionally well, they often provide limited opportunities to develop the practical habits, discipline, and decision-making skills required to lead people in the real world. That realization inspired me to create the Leadership Excellence Coaching Program. This coaching experience bridges the gap between leadership theory and leadership practice by combining proven leadership principles from the Canadian Armed Forces with modern business leadership, executive coaching, and organizational development. Each week focuses on one foundational leadership principle that builds upon the last. Participants don't simply learn concepts. They apply them to their own workplace, receive coaching and feedback, reflect on their experiences, and develop practical habits that improve how they lead every day.
